What we've become........

I don't really know why that I've got so many things to write on while I'm on FREAKING HARD exam time...Anyway, I've to write it to ease my mind....So here we go here we go...

This year for most of my friends, we are in our 20ies or late 19ies, it has been 2-2.5 years since we left high school. It's not such a long time ago we sat at our government final exam, feeling worried whether we pass or not and it's not such a long time ago we have our farewell party, hoping that after 3 years we've been trough we will meet again someday.

Gladly, we have a solution for that, thanks to the genius boy that wanted to link his Harvard friends, we now have a networking site called facebook. We could see all of our past and current friends that we have, what do they do now, where do they go to uni, how's their life and what have they become.

It's very interesting that we grown up so fast, for me, somethings do change and somethings just won't. I looked at several profile of my friends lately and see in their photos of how do they become and how they been lately. It seems that as we grow up and free from the high school burden and constraint, our true colors seems to be brighter and brighter.

Looking back to three years ago, when someone asked me "what will you be in the next three years??" I did say to him that I will be in the states, learning business and lot of other stuff, I'll have a great long relationship and much more. But when I look in the mirror right now, it seems that there are miss targets in my life. Right now I'm in sydney, learning accounting instead of business, single (this sucks..oh well..hahaha). I've derived far and far away from what I said last three years. But does it mean I fail, no. I just change my course in life. Through the years I adjust myself to the position to the reality that happens. some are good adjustment some not so good. But I'm here anyway.

Seeing my friends from three years ago, I felt happy for some people, and for others not so happy. I'm happy for the guys that are living their dreams, achieving greatness in life and keeping up to a great standard in life. I could say "great job and keep it up" for my friend, Lody, Ivan CL, Ivan 'Bapa' Heydemans, Dennis Indrawan, and much more who has achieve great things in the past three years. But for some, I'm kind of hurt seeing of what they have become. The "good" people that I've met 3 years ago they smoke, they partying too much, and it just kills me to see what happened.

In this moment I would also like to congratulate my expartners for what they have become. They have achieve a greatness in life. It is such an honor seeing you guys grow and become more mature in life. One of them is attending law school (which is cool), one of them is having a great scholarship life in NZ, one of them is starting a new life.

It really kills me to see someone wasting their time, money, capability in this productive years. They could achieve greatness but instead they fall behind. The sad things is they don't have any idea of what the have become.

To everyone who's reading this, this is of how we've become. Now, in 3 years to come, think of it, what will you become..what will you be in three years from now...are you going to waste your life or are you going to impact the world???what do you want to become???

Finally something smart to write on....

Hey y'all...how has it been going?????
It has been a long time ey since I write something more than just a stupidity...anyways....been busy lately with the hectic final exam...hopefully will pass everything thou...alrite, here's something smart from the thought of my head...

A deeper thoughts on perspective...

Waiter: "Do you know what you'd like this evening, sir?"

Anton Ego: "Yes, I think I do. After reading a lot of overheated puffery about your new cook, you know what I'm craving? A little perspective. That's it. I'd like some fresh, clear, well seasoned perspective. Can you suggest a good wine to go with that?"

waiter: "With what, sir?"

Anton Ego: "Perspective. Fresh out, I take it?"

waiter: "I am, uh..."

Anton Ego: "Very well. Since you're all out of perspective and no one else seems to have it in this BLOODY TOWN, I'll make you a deal. You provide the food, I'll provide the perspective, which would go nicely with a bottle of Cheval Blanc 1947."
(copyright of Disney Pixar "Ratatouille")

Perspective in the meaning which is "the appearance of things relative to one another as determined by their distance from the viewer" (wordnet princeton) has been a human nature and automatically being conduct everyday and every time in a human's life. Each and everyone of us has a perspectives, beliefs, and opinions towards something that we experience everyday in our lives, some may different from others, some may have a same perspective with others.

Perspective has been a great divider of this world; some believe that people should have a freedom expressing their views, opinions, while others believe that in order to have a peaceful world freedom of expression should be restrained and limited. It's all in the people's perspective.

Many of us probably doesn't care with our perspective, we think that there are already too much people with a job to give out perspective; lawyers, judge, president, doctors, philosophers. We don't really seems to care that we are living by their perspective everyday and not ours. Our own personal perspective has been shut and for some of us our perspective has died long long ago.

Living in others perspective is not always bad or destructive. Law is the government perspective in order to keep peace, but sometimes it does restrain our perspective towards others. In the example, giving opinions towards others could be sued for giving bad names just because the opinions is not what others expected. The law is a great tool for keeping peace but it's a destructive tool to restrain and kill our perspective.

Living by others perspective sometimes does really kill your true self; many people want you to be like this this and this according to their criteria of likeness. You've become what others wanted you to be, not who you really are. By losing the perspective of your own, you'll feel that you loose your identity. Identity crisis is the biggest crisis in this world. Many people become suicidal, gay, lesbian, on drugs, on alcohol because they forget who they really are. They are following others perspective towards them, they experience peer pressure and finally they broke down.

In high school usually this identity crisis happens, I saw it all around high schoolies around Sydney. Students are living to the perspective that others gave him/her. There are the nerds, cool guys, geeks, jogs, emo, and many more. This is why many students have lost their identity and for some their successful future. Because they are told who they are.

I think we should respect other people's perspective because it's who you are in their eyes. If they hate you, they hate you,if they love you, they love you. You need no care, you should be who you are, you should shout your perspective towards them. YOU are who YOU are.

Successful people is people that stand out to their perspective and does not care about what others think about them, Bill Gates once said "there will be a computer in every home." And all of the investors just laugh and think that is ridiculous, but who's laughing now??? If he didn't stick up to his perspective, he will not be the richest person in the WORLD right now.

Standing up to your perspective is a hard job because probably most of the guys will hate you for that, most of the time, the one with perspective of their own is a lonely guy because he stand up for what he believe in. He stand up for his perspective. But that's why in the real world there could only be few winners. For most of the people, they are losers, because losers is the one that tries to please everyone.

So, Stand UP to your perspective!!! Stand UP for what you belief in!!! Stand up and proof that in this BLOODY world we live in there are still a Fresh Perspective of our own!!!

have a great day everyone....
